Year of the Bible Announcement
Read the Bible together in one year, according to a fixed schedule of 3-4 chapters per day. We begin October 6 with Genesis 1-4, concluding October 4, 2024 (a leap year), with Revelation 20-22.
A study Bible with explanatory notes, such as the New Interpreter’s Study Bible, is optional but recommended. Other scriptural commentary will also be made available, as well as online versions of the scripture texts.
We begin on October 6, the anniversary of the death of William Tyndale, one of the first translators of the Bible into English and the primary translator of the King James Bible. Join us!
