Our youth group is a valuable place for the teenagers (grades 7-12) at St. George's to hang out together in a Christian environment. An example of some of these gatherings would be: paintballing trips, lock-ins, trips to the movies and regular meetings at the church. A "regular" meeting for the youth group usually consists of pizza consumption, games, discussion, and prayer.

It is also a valuable way for the teenagers of St. George's to give back to the congregation, and to the needy of the world. The youth group has made multiple trips to Philadelphia to spend time with the homeless population there.  When one of our parish staff member's ran into some transportation problems, the youth rallied and raised over a $1000 to help with repairs.

All in all, the youth at St. George's are continually learning and growing together in Christ. We are proud to be a part of a Church that supports and values its youth. If you have any questions regarding St. George's Youth Group, please feel free to contact any of the adult leaders mentioned above.

For children in grades 3-6, Fr. Ryan runs a Jr. Youth group meeting every other month after the 10am service.  It is full of games, songs, crafts, bible study, and other fun activities.  Come check it out!

"Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."
