Mission Statement: Ambassadors (a.k.a. Ushers) welcome those attending services and assist in preparing for and participating in worship. With a warm hello and distribution of bulletins, the ambassadors form the front line of hospitality on Sunday mornings and at other worship services as well. These volunteers are representatives from the congregation who present our gifts of thanksgiving, first by delivering the elements to the altar for communion and then by presenting our collective offering. The Ambassadors' duties can be accomplished either as a team of two or as a team of four. Team captains work with the ministry team leader to set up schedules, provide training for new volunteers, and ensure that Ambassador duties are communicated to all those serving. Greeters are occasionally available to assist in welcoming visitors and members. The Greeters can assist in answering questions or helping parishioners become integrated more fully into the life of the congregation. Oftentimes, members of the Vestry act as Greeters. For further information contact the church office.
