Experience Taizé at St. George’s, Ardmore

A candlelit church. Enchanting music. Silent prayer and reflection. A simple Eucharist. Experience all of this and more at our Taizé services. There is a service on the third Sunday of each month at 7:00 p.m. excepting only December (service held on 2nd Sunday) and July and August (no services). The service is based on the worship practices of the Taizé monastery in France. The monastery was founded by Brother Roger in 1940. It is ecumenical, with both Catholic and Protestant brothers, and it is a major pilgrimage site for young people. The monastery has an informative web site at http://www.taize.fr.

You will find our Taizé service to be a unique and moving experience. If you would like to participate as a cantor or a musician, you will be most welcome! Please speak with Father Ryan, Janet Reddin, or Michael Fox at church.
