Serving people of all faiths since 1870, Episcopal Community Services is one of the region’s largest and most respected comprehensive social service agencies. ECS's operating budget offers services that reach thousands of people in dire need. ECS maintains a professional staff of social workers, certified home health aides, administrators and support staff that is bolstered by some 500 volunteers. ECS serves children, their families, low-income and frail elderly, persons affected by AIDS, the homeless, those recovering from drug addiction, and people in nursing homes, prisons and hospitals.
